My name is Dr. Minkailu Sesay, an Atlanta-based family physician, born in Eastern Sierra Leone. I obtained medical training in Russia and the United States. It has always been my passion to serve communities in need. Growing up in a country with limited resources for learning and where healthcare was a privilege, not a right, was challenging for me. My parents believed in hard work, integrity, and humility. These values shaped me into the person I am today. During my elementary school years, I made a commitment to return to and serve the community I grew up in by providing much-needed medical care. Growing up in Sierra Leone and working as a volunteer in Haiti and Nicaragua only further cemented my commitment to this goal. My decision to form a nonprofit organization followed from this long-term goal to serve those who have endured much hardship.
I founded Angel International Mission Inc (AIM) in February 2019, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to serve communities in developing countries by working together with community leaders to provide medical care and establish a solid educational structure providing school children with materials needed to develop fundamental, age-appropriate skills, including basic school supplies and textbooks.

OUR VISION
To accomplish AIM’s goals, we envision AIM will be involved in:
1. Collaboration with local health centers and other nonprofit organizations in the region to improve the health of communities.
2. Empowering residents to be involved in their own community health.
3. Educating and training local health care providers.
4. Supporting local schools by providing educational resources.
5. Establishing local health centers to provide direct patient care to residents of communities.
