Angel International Mission’s food distribution in Rokupa Wharf and Yengema, Sierra Leone-an effort to care for the less privileged during the COVID19 pandemic.
I want to specially thank and appreciate my team and everyone who contributed to the success of this food project. Your passion and sacrifice are simply incredible.
In addition to promoting the basic recommendations of hand hygiene and social distancing, nutrition is critical to the survival of certain groups of people in Sierra Leone. Hence the focus on helping the most vulnerable people to cope as they stay home during the Coronavirus pandemic. A lock down or self quarantine without access to the basic necessities of life could be very devastating. Reaching out to them at this critical point of human history is our own humble way of helping to fight the COVID 19 infection. However, this cannot be done alone. We need your help, partnership and support in any degree in order to make this vision a reality. We are open to collaboration with government agencies, private enterprises, organizations, individuals, etc, with the aim of reaching out to the poor. We believe that together we will survive and beat this virus. As we seek to continue on this noble path, I want to encourage every one of us not to relent or be discouraged. Please contact me with suggestions as to how we can continue serving these people.
